Now I Wear Any Jeans I Want To!
Jason Easily Lost 15 Lbs (7 kg) and is still counting…
“I have battled weight issues my whole life and at age 31 it was starting to show in my health. In my most recent visit to my doctor last summer, my combined cholesterol level was 230. Not good. Not only was I over weight, but it was really going to shorten my lifespan if I didn’t do something to get everything under control.”
About 4 months ago my wife came to me with a proposition. If I lost 15 pounds and got my cholesterol under 200 we would purchase a new T.V. And not just any new T.V., but a 52-inch flat panel, LCD, 1080P T.V. Talk about incentive. “She introduced me to the Scandinavian Diets program and turned me onto the notion of what the program had to offer. The idea seemed pretty simple. Maintain a reasonable workout schedule, without killing myself, while eating foods that were low in sugar and pick the slow carbohydrates.”
I “fondly” recall a few stories about my weight when I was a wee lad. One of them happened with my mother. I was in middle school, at the age of 13, and I was visiting her during Spring Break. She had recognized that my weight might be an issue and had tried several things to help get it under control. A diet of cottage cheese, wheat bread, and celery sticks does not make for a good Spring Break. At one point my mother was so distraught over trying to point out the problem that she resorted to tangible examples. She made me go weigh myself on the scale, which recorded me as a whopping 100 pounds (about 20 over what I should have weighed at the time). When I told her the results, she went to her kitchen and pulled out a 1 pound can of beans from the cupboard. Thrusting into my hand she said, “You weigh one hundred of these! Think about that.” I wrapped my brain around the notion and realized that weighing a hundred cans of beans probably wasn’t a good thing. And they were garbanzo beans, which was worse.
“Scandinavian Diets has provided the all encompassing program, marrying the diet aspect with the workout aspect to create a truly unique weight loss program. And the most important piece of the program is that it’s not impossible or unsustainable on the contrary, it all makes perfect sense.”
I lost 15 cans of beans, down to 180 (High School weight), and I am still continuing to lose weight; my cholesterol is under 200; and the best part about the whole deal is that I got my new T.V., which I can watch, while wearing any brand of jeans I want.
“This is way of eating I can stick to for good!”
